Part of Exeter Cathedral's ambitious heritage improvement programme, Treasures creates dedicated gallery spaces to display rare collections, manuscripts and historic artefacts that were previously inaccessible to visitors.
MJS Group was appointed to deliver the exhibition fit-out within one of England's most significant Grade I listed buildings. Working sensitively within the historic cathedral, our team manufactured and installed bespoke display elements, gallery structures and interpretive features while carefully protecting the existing fabric throughout the works. Close collaboration with the client, designers and specialist contractors ensured the exhibition integrated seamlessly into its historic surroundings. The completed galleries provide a contemporary setting for nationally important collections, demonstrating MJS's expertise in delivering high-quality museum environments within complex heritage buildings. Through careful planning, precision manufacture and sensitive installation, the project successfully balances modern exhibition standards with the conservation requirements of an internationally important historic site.
